The January 18, 2012 meeting of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents was held at Ippy's in Rocky Mount, Va. The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p m by Michael Harrison, Vice-President. Minutes of the December 14, 2011 meeting were approved as posted. Gunther Greimel gave a treasurer's report which was approved as presented. The next meeting will be at Famous Anthony's on Route 460 East on April 18, 2012 at which time there will be a Round Table discussion of the current tax season. Education was presented by Gail Abbott on Foreign Bank Accounts and Cash Transactions beginning at 12:50 and ending at 1:50. Upon motion, the meeting was adjourned. Nancy H. Lynch, Secretary |
