The July 21, 2010 meeting of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents was held at Ippy's Restaurant, Rocky Mount, VA. The meeting was called to order at 12:15 p.m. by William Barbour. Dues of members are $25.00 and are due in July. Motion was made by Sharon Warren seconded by Charles Spencer to approve the minutes of the June 16, 2010 meeting as presented. John Gunther, recently retired from the Internal Revenue Service, gave a two-hour presentation on the Indicators of Tax Fraud the IRS would look for. Said presentation will be continued at the August 18 meeting. The August 18, 2010 meeting will be at Famous Anthony's on Williamson Road in Roanoke, Va. with any additional information to be posted on the web site.
